February Newsletter

With grateful hearts, we reflect on a month filled with compassion, service, and hope. February has been a meaningful journey as we reached out to communities in need and continued to stand beside those who depend on our support.

Our Outreach during Ditwa Cyclone

Supporting Families in Ragala – Nuwara Eliya District

We were blessed to extend our support to over 200 families in the Ragala area. Through your kindness, these families received much-needed assistance, bringing relief and hope to their homes.

Care for a New Mother and Baby

We provided baby items, maternity clothing, and essential supplies to a newborn baby and mother, ensuring they begin this new chapter with dignity and care.

Water Distribution in Kandy

A total of 400 water bottles were distributed, meeting an immediate need and supporting the community during a time of demand.

Dry Rations in Kegalle

We reached 50 families in Kegalle with dry ration packs, helping to ease their daily struggles and provide nourishment.

Ongoing Projects

We continue to walk alongside those in need through our ongoing commitments:

• Tuition support for 15 children, helping them continue their education with confidence

• Monthly assistance for widows, ensuring they are not alone in their journey

Looking Ahead – Our Vision for 2026

With faith and determination, we are preparing to expand our reach through meaningful programs:

Women Empowerment Initiatives

Supporting women to rise with strength, dignity, and independence

Suicide Prevention Awareness Programme

Creating awareness, offering support, and bringing hope to those struggling silently

Montessori Training Programme

Training teachers and parents, with a vision to expand this program across all districts in Sri Lanka

Playground Project – Walasmulla (Southern District)

Building a safe and joyful space for children to play, grow, and thrive
